Due to rapid business expansion, Consult Red is seeking a Delivery Manager to manage technology services delivered to a major media client.
This role is a rare opportunity to join our friendly management team in a successfully SME with an outstanding company culture. You will join an existing team of technical, management, administration, recruitment and business development staff and be responsible for continued success and growth.
Your duties will include:
- Responsible for monitoring and managing the service delivered by the engineering teams
- Managing risks, ensuring continuity in provision of the teams.
- Monitoring and managing individual motivation & performance, and delivery KPIs.
- Dealing with escalations from the customers of the engineering teams
- Developing relationships with engineering project sponsors
- Dealing with HR aspects of the engineering staff, co-ordinating with the General Manager for Poland.
- Representing Consult Red on the project steering committee.
- Ensuring compliance with project governance and the direction set by steering committee.
- Co-ordinating with The General Manager for Poland and executive team in the UK
You will be responsible for teams in our Zielona Góra, Warsaw and Katowice offices and will be expected to travel from time to time.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous management experience at a departmental level (~5-7+ years)
- A strong technical background in a medium size IT company (software development area)
- Experience of leading others and taking on formal management responsibilities
- Experience of negotiating with external clients or internal stakeholders when delivering projects
- English equivalent level of C1 and good communication skills in general
- An open, positive, consultative management style
- Willingness to travel
